A storied, New York City-based company that has existed since 1818. Focuses (almost) exclusively on menswear. Considered quite reliable in terms of quality; their basic shirts especially are very good for the price range.
They have supplied 39 of 44 US presidents, for reference. They also provide the suits for Mad Men. Although generally pretty conservative, they have some more ambitious projects including the Thom Browne-backed Black Fleece label.
